PINKHAM NOTCH, New Hampshire ??” Wildcat Mountain has set a closing date of Sunday, April 16th, 2006. Says Tom Caughey, General Manager of Wildcat Mountain, “It’s been a bit of a roller-coaster this season weather-wise, but we received really great feedback from our customers on the overall high quality of our snow conditions and grooming throughout the season — we are really pleased with that. For next season, we’re looking forward to expansion in trails, with a few new

gladed areas, as well as improvements in buildings and facilities. Folks can look forward to new offerings in our ski school and rental shop, and the retail shop will have a new look and feel, as well. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but the staff we have in place is strong — so we’re excited and looking forward to making some headway this summer.”

Sunday, April 16th, will wrap up Wildcat’s 48th season of lift-serviced skiing. Wildcat will host the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, beginning at 8:30am. Caughey notes that this season has been relatively successful for Wildcat Mountain, with a growth in season pass sales. “The main challenge with this season was that most of the wet and inclement weather events occurred on weekends, when more people have time to ski. Generally, we had great midweek conditions, but I think people found it hard to believe because not many people were here to experience it. In the end, we received just slightly less than our average annual snowfall.”

Season Passes for the 2006/07 season are on sale, with passes for students ages 6-18 at $149, full-time college student passes at $169, and adult passes starting at $399. Wildcat’s season passes are all valid during holiday weeks, without black-out dates, and the above prices are valid for a limited time. Season-long ski school programs for children and adults are also available, and offer the perfect opportunity to improve technique and increase comfort levels on all terrain.
