Meathead Films Brings You Wanderland
BURLINGTON, Vermont — Meathead Films, is proud to announce the release of their latest ski film project, Wanderland, due out on DVD in early October.
This adventure film profiles North America’s East Coast while following the finest regional freeskiing athletes to spectacular terrain at Stowe, Jay Peak, Cannon, Loon, Sunday River, Newfoundland, the Tug Hill Plateau in central New York and more. Rare backcountry footage is complimented by top-level newschool action, which includes the 2nd annual Heat Harvest Superpark at Sunday River. What the East lacks in vertical drop, we make up for in finding tight tree skiing, deep powder, urban rails, super-sized terrain parks, and of course: die hard locals.
Boasting one of the largest movie tours in the industry, Wanderland will premiere at 60 stops and will kick off as a feature presentation at the first annual International Freeskiing Film Festival (IF3) in Montreal on September 15th. The U.S. world premiere will be held on October 5th at the University of Vermont’s CC Theater. All the tour stop locations and dates will be available soon on www.MeatheadFilms.com.
The trailer for Wanderland can be viewed on the newly redesigned MeatheadFilms.com. The upgraded website offers exciting new features to compliment the mass amounts of content and media the Meatheads have to offer. New features include a free weekly video podcast, the ???Meathead Theater??? (a flash based video player), and coming soon, a public blog where East Coast enthusiasts can post their own articles. Additionally, there is a comment box below every article and video on the site so you can let the world know your thoughts.
