WEST DOVER, Vermont — Mount Snow’s Bud Light Winter Concert Series kicks into high gear on Sunday, February 17th with a ballroom performance by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The band, a seven-piece swing, jazz and blues band, is renowned for its high-energy shows that keep everyone dancing. Doors open at 8 p.m. at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel at the base of Mount Snow, with an opening performance by Peter Miles.

Enter the ballroom and step into the world of 1920s speakeasies. The evening comes complete with swing dance demonstrations, the Bud “Angels” girls, antique cars and hors d’oeuvres. Wear your sharpest zoot suit or flapper dress, because the winner of the costume contest scores a Mount Snow season pass for the 2008/09 season.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy carries on the tradition of the legendary big bands and orchestras by touring non-stop, performing over 100 concerts each year around the world. Like the Glen Miller Orchestra, Benny Goodman, and the Count Basie Big Band, BBVD sell out energetic shows to audiences of all ages. Their hip, inimitable sound is a blend of classic styles and original compositions
