Cannon Mountain Extends New Hampshire Resident Deadline
FRANCONIA NOTCH, New Hampshire — Cannon Mountain has extended the deadline for New Hampshire residents to get a discount on season passes. The deadline was December 14th at 11:59pm and the new deadline is Sunday, December 21st at 11:59pm.
“With the recent statewide damage due to the ice storm and the widespread loss of power, it’s important for us to note that while that while we were not affected by the storm and have remained open, many in the state have not had access to computers or phones. Those without power must be afforded an opportunity to put in that last-minute application and realize a savings, as in years past,” said General Manager John DeVivo. “They’ve been unable to do so in the last several days, and we’re thankful to have received a one-week extension from the Commissioner’s office on the deadline.”
New Hampshire residents get a 25% discount on adult, junior, child, and senior passes. A valid New Hampshire driver’s license or state-issued ID is required to receive this discount.
Cannon Mountain has 72 trails, 9 lifts, and terrain for all ability levels. Cannon has the longest vertical drop and the highest lift-served terrain in New Hampshire, and the state’s only aerial tramway. Cannon was named #1 in the East for Value; #2 in the East for Scenery; #2 in the East for Accessibility; #3 in the East for Overall Satisfaction; #3 in the East for Lift Service; #5 in the East for Challenge; #6 in the East for Variety of Terrain by Ski Magazine Readers.
