KILLINGTON, Vermont — Killington Resort, Vermont’s largest ski and snowboard resort, has partnered with Long Trail Brewing of Bridgewater Corners, Vermont to provide free late-night shuttle service up and down the famed Killington Road.

“This partnership provides a win-win situation for guests to Killington Resort,” said Tracy Taylor, director of resort services. “Not only does this promote safe transportation options for guests to and from lodging properties to restaurants, bars and nightclubs on Killington Road, but it also drives home the environmental message of using free public transportation.”

Long Trail Brewing is one of the nation’s leading environmentally friendly breweries, and has provided funding not only to support this free service, but to promote the importance of their environmental message as well.

“Our ECO Brew?„? philosophy resonates throughout all aspects of the brewery’s operations, including our interaction with the local community,” states Seth Wyman, Long Trail’s Brand Marketing Manager. “Providing financial support for this free service fits well with Long Trail’s ECO Brew goal of promoting environmentally friendly solutions, especially as this free service could greatly reduce the amount of late-night, personal vehicle travel on Killington Road ??“ providing important environmental and safety benefits to the area.”

The free Long Trail Ale Late-Night Shuttle operates daily from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. providing transportation to and from the properties along East Mountain Road and Killington Road terminating at the Marble Valley Regional Transit Center at 1:45 a.m. Saturday evenings and during selected holiday periods, an additional Late-Night Shuttle will operate from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., ending at the Marble Valley Regional Transit Center at 2:15 a.m.
