HUNTER, New York — Hunter Mountain & premier New York City dating service NY Easy Dates have partnered up to offer skiers & riders something special this Valentine’s Day: a chance to find romance on the slopes of Hunter Mountain. Once renowned as one of the best destinations for singles in the East, Hunter Mountain is offering anyone and everyone in the NYC area an opportunity to meet someone special on this Valentine’s Day.

Each 7-minute ride up on the chairlift is your opportunity to meet someone special. The trip starts at 6AM with a pick-up in Manhattan by Urban Sherpa. Once you get to Hunter, you’ll get your rental equipment and meet with the rest of the group briefly…then if you are a beginner, join Hunter’s instructors, who will teach you to ski or ride. Intermediates are free to roam, and all can remain out on the slopes for as long as desired.

Maybe you’re wondering what kind of success is to be expected from speed dating, or you’re new to the game: fact is, 90% of people who take part in NY Easy Dates find at least one person per dating event…most people choose 5 or more. Make your Valentine’s Day something special and start new on the slopes of Hunter Mountain.

The bar opens at 2pm for post-snow drinks – you can continue on the snow, or stop by the bar to mingle and enjoy live entertainment. At 4:30, the bus will head back to NYC…and for those with the energy, upon your arrival back in New York, you’ll head out to a local bar and take advantage of some drink specials.

The cost for the trip is $125 for beginners and $115 for intermediates, and includes a round trip bus ride, ski pass, ski or board rentals, a group lesson (beginners only) and a free invite to a follow-up speed dating event in Manhattan on March 4.
