International Celtic Festival at Hunter Mountain to Feature Shilelagh Law, Many More
On-site camping available, plus fireworks and renowned Mass March
HUNTER, NY – The 36th Annual International Celtic Festival is set to kick off on August 20 & 21 at Hunter Mountain, featuring Irish and Irish-American entertainers, fireworks, pipe & drum competitions, on-site camping, art and craft vendors, and more. Shilelagh Law will be headlining the festival, with other acts to include Barleyjuice, Andy Cooney, Four Celtic Voices, The Tartan Terrors, a U2 Tribute Beautiful Day, Champion Irish Step Dancers and more. Festival grounds open at 11am on Saturday, and 9:30am on Sunday, with fireworks at 10pm on Saturday night; Sunday’s entertainment ends at 9pm with U2 tribute band Beautiful Day. Spanning the indoor and outdoor areas of Hunter Mountain, the festival will take place rain or shine with plenty of space to roam, dance and relax. There will be numerous art, craft and food vendors throughout. The renowned Mass March, which features hundreds of pipe & drum band members, will take place at 6:30pm.
Hunter Mountain’s Skyride will be operating over the weekend, allowing festival-goers to take the chairlift to the summit of the resort-hours of operation and pricing can be found on HunterMtn.com. Admission to the festival International Celtic Festival is $13.00 per person if purchased early on eSki.HunterMtn.com or $16 at the door; camping access is $15 for Saturday night, and also can be purchased online. Camping will take place on Hunter One.
