Early season pass prices expire on September 23
MT. CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. – SEPTEMBER 13 – Early season pricing expires on September 23, 2011 for 2011-2012 pass products and mountain cards from Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR). With a range of season-long options available, including pass products for guests wanting to ski unlimited days this season to someone looking to enjoy the mountain for a few days, CBMR encourages enthusiasts to take advantage of the lowest pricing available for the coming season. Early season pricing includes Platinum and Gold passes, as well as the multi-day mountain cards products, online or on-site at the resort’s Pass Office.
Platinum Season Pass
New for the 2011/12 season, Platinum Passes now include unlimited summer and winter Adventure Park access, in addition to unlimited lift access throughout both seasons. The price for an Adult Platinum Pass is $1099, Senior (ages 65-69) is $749, Senior (ages 70+) is $299, Child (ages 7-12) is $235 and Young Adult is $285 (ages 13-17). Also included with all Adult and Senior Platinum passes are 4 Buddy Tickets, which entitle friends and family to $50 lift tickets.
“The Platinum Pass has always included summer access for pass holders, but never Adventure Park access,” said Daren Cole, vice president of sales and marketing for CBMR. “We decided to change that this year, after listening to feedback from our guests.”
Gold Season Pass
For those wanting winter lift access only, Gold Passes also are on sale until September 23. The price for an Adult Gold Pass is $999, Senior (ages 65-69) is $699, Senior (ages 70+) is $249, Child (ages 7-12) is $135 and Young Adult (ages 13-17) is $185. Also included with all Adult and Senior Gold passes are 2 Buddy Tickets, entitling friends and family to $50 lift tickets.
Family Package
The popular Family Package is available as well, for $1099 for Platinum and $999 for Gold passes; this includes one Adult Platinum or Gold pass and a corresponding pass for one dependent child, age 17 and under. Children 6 and under continue to ski free at CBMR.
Mountain Cards
CBMR continues to offer multi-day Mountain Card products for those wishing to only ski a few days, none of which have black-out dates, allowing skier and riders to use their pass on any day they wish. This year, CBMR offers a 10-day pass ($449), the X-Card now loaded with 5 days ($259), the CB Card ($49) and the EZ Pass ($449).
The 10-day pass and X-Card are available for use on any day of the 2011/12 ski season and offer skiers a limited number of days to enjoy the resort. The CB Card gives skiers and riders their first day on the mountain for free and 25% off the single-day adult window ticket rate for any additional days used (a 15% discount is given during the holiday seasons, 12/26/11 -1/1/12 & 3/12/12 – 3/16/12). The EZ Pass is a great option for those who don’t have the ability to ski every day, giving them one day per week throughout the entire winter season.
