Wildcat Mountain: Wildcat Mountain continues to operate the gondola and ZipRider daily, weather & wind permitting, through the Columbus Day weekend and will do so right up until Sunday, October 16.

This Saturday, October 8, the Appalachian Mountain Club will host this fall’s final summit guided tour & hike. It looks like it’s going to be a perfect weekend to join a naturalist from our neighboring Appalachian Mountain Club Pinkham Notch Visitor Center for a ride up our scenic gondola, an environmentally educational summit tour, and an optional guided hike down Wildcat Mountain. Program is free with the purchase of a scenic gondola ticket. Persons should purchase ticket prior to and meet at main base lodge for 10 a.m. departure.

Attitash Mountain Resort: Attitash Mountain Resort is open this Columbus Day weekend operating the Mountain Coaster, Alpine Slides, Scenic Chair, and lift-serviced downhill mountain biking. We are also hosting the 14th annual Oktoberfest weekend festival Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 at Bear Peak and I’ve attached a .pdf flyer with information for that if you wish to share. New this year for Oktoberfest, we will have a mechanical bull for attendees to maybe saddle up on to. Here are approximate times for specific events occurring at the Oktoberfest:
