Deer Tick to bring unique sound to Sugarloaf on Feb 11
Donavon Frankenreiter to round out concert series on March 17
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine (Feb. 2, 2012) – Deer Tick, one of the nation’s top touring acts, will bring its one-of-a-kind sound to Sugarloaf’s King Pine Room on Saturday, February 11, as part of the resort’s Bud Light Concert Series .
The annual series brings nationally renowned acts to the resort throughout the winter season, and will feature three dates this year, including the famous Bud Light Reggae Festival in April.
Donavon Frankenreiter , the singer, songwriter, and professional surfer whose music has sold millions of copies around the world, will headline this year’s second show on March 17.
Led by guitarist Ian O’Neil and drummer Dennis Ryan, Deer Tick’s five member band hails from Rhode Island and is recognized throughout the music industry for a truly unique sound that defies categorization, and live performances that routinely have audiences up and out of their seats.
Adam Ezra Group, the wildly popular acoustic rock band from Boston, will open for Deer Tick. Adam Ezra Group, or AEG, is one of Boston’s leading acoustic rock bands. AEG is a dynamic roots/rock band whose unique mix of folk, pop and rock sound perfectly combines Ezra’s passion for smart, well written lyrics and the bands amazing musicianship. Over the past 8 years the band has had a consistent tour schedule and sold out shows in the Northeast, while rapidly building their fan base nationwide.

All Bud Light Concert Series shows are 21+ and proper ID is required at the door. Doors open at 8pm for both shows; openers play at 8:30pm, headliners at 9:30.
