BENNINGTON, New Hampshire ??” Late at night on Fridays and Saturdays, when the moon is shining, the music is playing, the bonfire blazing and the lights glowing, it can only be one thing: Midnight Madness at Crotched Mountain.

Friday, January 21st marks the first in a series of late-night/early-morning ski events at the new mountain in Bennington, NH. Crotched introduced “Midnight Madness” last season, offering skiing & snowboarding on 100% of the mountain from 9pm-3am.

Incorporated with the events are other on-mountain happenings ??“ bonfires, fireworks, terrain park shows, live music and more. Rock 101 (WGIR) of Manchester, NH will be sponsoring 4 of the events on Saturday nights this year, the first being January 22nd.

“The midnights were very successful last year”, said Chris Bradford, Crotched’s Sales & Marketing Director. “There’s a lot of buzz about it this year because it’s totally unique and the phone has been ringing off the hook. It really is more than just skiing or riding until 3am, it’s about the whole vibe and everyone having a good time”.

Crotched Mountain is the only ski area in the eastern United States to offer skiing/riding beyond midnight. Peak Resorts, Crotched’s parent company, currently runs Midnight Madness at its ski areas in the Midwest.

Midnight Madness at Crotched Mountain begins Friday, January 21st and is scheduled to run every Friday and Saturday night, 9pm-3am through March 5th. 100% of the mountain is open for night skiing and tickets are only $29. The mountain is currently offering an unlimited “Midnight Madness Season Pass” for only $69, or $99 w/ rental equipment.
