OP Girls Learn to Ride At Jiminy Peak Feb. 12

HANCOCK, Massachusetts ??” OP Girls Learn to Ride will return to Jiminy Peak for the second time this season on Saturday, February 12th. OP Girls Learn to Ride is a unique way for girls and women ages 8 and up to learn to snowboard together. GETSnowboarding lessons are offered in 90 minute sessions at 9 am, 11 am, and 1:30 pm. The lesson package includes snowboard equipment rental, beginner lift ticket, and a lesson and each package costs $60. A portion of the cost of each package sold will be donated to Boarding For Breast Cancer – a not for profit youth-focused breast cancer awareness group. Each participant will also receive a free goodie bag when they check-in on the day of the event.

Op Girls Learn To Ride is the original series of girls-only action sports clinics, designed to give females of all ages the basic skills and confidence necessary to participate in skateboarding, surfing, motocross, wakeboarding, BMX, mountain biking and snowboarding. In this program, skilled professionals provide hands-on training with an emphasis on safety and skill development. Now in its sixth year, OP GLTR has taught thousands of girls and women a new action sport. The program hosted over 100 events throughout the United States and Canada in 2004.
