WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” It will be a true, red, white and blue celebration at Waterville Valley’s Town Square this July Fourth. Freedom rings for families since all Independence Day events and activities at Waterville Valley are being offered on a complimentary basis.

The fun kicks off at noon on Monday, July 4, with a free concert featuring the classic rock acoustic strains of Crazy Eddie. The Bombers take the Town Square Gazebo stage from 6 to 9 p.m., with original tunes, rock and classic rock covers.

Between the musical performances, the Waterville Valley Independence Day Parade winds its way through the Valley floor from the Conference Center parking lot, up Snow’s Brook Road, left on Route 49 toward Town Square and back to the Conference Center.

During the time leading up to Waterville Valley’s spectacular fireworks, slated to launch at 9:30 p.m., Fourth of July revelers can explore the eclectic shops of Town Square. Extended holiday hours of operation mean visitors can visit the T-shirt Co. and the Jugtown Store and Ice Cream Shop until 10 p.m. The Bookmonger, Dreams and Visions and Adornments will be open until 9 p.m. All the restaurants and taverns of Town Square will be open until at least 10 p.m.

When darkness falls, the Waterville Valley night sky will be set ablaze with a 30- to 40-minute pyrotechnics show that puts all others to shame. Launched from the far shore of Corcoran’s Pond, the reflection of every rocket’s red glare will enhance the enjoyment of this spectacular display of American patriotism.
