WOODBURY, Connecticut -- Woodbury ski area has made snow and opened for the 2008-09 ski season. On Monday, November 10 Woodbury Ski Area fired up the arsenal of snow machines to lay down the white stuff for all of the eager skiers and riders that have patiently been awaiting opening day. There are eight features on the hill including jumps, grinds and rails. Tubing is also open.
