    EAST BURKE, Vermont -- It was announced today at the National Ski Areas Association annual meeting, in San Francisco, that Burke Mountain is the 2008 nationwide recipient of the Best Overall Guest Service Program for ski areas with up to 100,000 skier visits. According to Emilie Kelley, of Camp Kelly Inc. and one of the judges for NSAA, Burke Mountain's "Bend Over Backwards" campaign did a great job encouraging employees to exceed everyday expectations.
