After Hours Coyote Challenge Series Half-Pipe Competition

HANCOCK, Massachusetts ??” The After Hours Coyote Challenge returns to Jiminy Peak on Saturday, February 26th with another half-pipe competition on Coyote Ridge. The After Hours Coyote Challenge is a seven event ski and snowboard series that includes two rail jams, two half pipe competitions, two park competitions, and a finals event for all disciplines. Skiers and riders may pick and choose between events, or compete in all of them. Ultimately the top finishers will move on to the finals to be held on Spring Fling weekend, March 26, 2005. This event will begin at 2:00 pm, and registration and check-in begins at 1:00 pm in Crane Lodge. Pre-registration may be done online or at the Ski School Desk in East Base Lodge. All events in the After Hours series are judged by members of the Jiminy Peak Ski & Snowboard School. Single event registration is $5.00 in advance and $7.00 on the day of the competition, plus a valid Jiminy Peak lift ticket.

Participants are awarded points for their performances. At the end of the season their point totals will help determine who makes it to the finals, with the top ten in points in each category qualifying for that respective final. Those who have competed in every event, and have finished in the top ten in each category, will qualify to compete for the overall title. There will be winners for each discipline and one overall winner for the series who will have competed in all three disciplines in the finals, and in each event throughout the season.
