After Hours Coyote Challenge Series Rail Competition
HANCOCK, MA ??” The first event in the seven event After Hours Coyote Challenge series will be Saturday, January 8th and Jiminy Peak. After Hours Coyote Challenge is a seven event ski and snowboard series that includes two rail competitions, two half pipe competitions, two park competitions, and a finals event for all disciplines. Skiers and riders may pick and choose between events, or compete in all of them. Ultimately the top finishers will move on to the finals to be held on Spring Fling weekend, March 26, 2005.
Participants will be awarded points for their performances. At the end of the season their point totals will help determine who makes it to the finals, with the top ten in points in each category qualifying for that respective final. Those who have competed in every event, and have finished in the top ten in each category, will qualify to compete for the overall title. There will be winners for each discipline and one overall winner for the series who will have competed in all three disciplines in the finals, and in each event throughout the season.
The first event is a rail competition to be held in the beginner park on the Grand Slam trail. All events begin at 4:00 with a pre-event meeting to be held one hour prior to the start time, and a warm up session thirty minutes before the start time. The events will be judged by members of the Jiminy Peak Ski & Snowboard School.
