HIGHMOUNT, New York ??” The second annual Catskill Mountain Outdoor Adventure Expo will be a huge happening at Belleayre this Saturday, June 18 from 10 to 5; rain or shine with free parking and admission.

Exhibitors and vendors inside the Overlook Lodge and the Big White Tent will be out in full force to showcase merchandise and activities perfectly suited for Catskills’ life. They include: a shooting simulator, birds of prey exhibition, guided hikes, rock climbing, and a Wingnut bike rally. Kayak demos by Susan’s Pleasant Pheasant Farm will be offered on the Pine Hill Lake at Belleayre Beach.

There’s plenty for the kids all day: they can visit the spectacular Nature Center, an adventure all by itself or paint clay pots to take home, take the sky ride for the fun and the views or tackle the challenge of an obstacle course. Fishing in the pond is always a favorite. Poles are provided.

It’s all about Catskills action: hiking, biking, fishing, hang gliding, rock climbing and the wonders of nature. It promises to be a new learning experience for every member of the family.
