BARTLETT, NH ??” In a move designed to promote active lifestyles, Attitash is offering the highly successful Bring a Friend Program to introduce first time skiers and snowboarders to snowsports. By introducing a friend via a Learn to Ski or Ride Program, the more experienced of the two receives a free day on the slopes.

“We’re always looking for new ways to share our passion for winter,” said John Urdi, vice president of brand management for Attitash. “Watching your friends or family learn a new sport is very rewarding. Now it’s rewarding for other reasons as well, mainly the free lift ticket. Our Perfect Turn Ski and Snowboard School is there to make sure the learning process is fun and effective.”

The Learn to Ski or Ride Program includes learning area lift access, equipment rental and introductory instruction. Upon check-in, the first timer will be guided through the rental process in preparation for the program and the friend will be vended a lift ticket valid that day.

Other resorts that are offering the Bring a Friend Program this season include Killington, Pico and Mount Snow in Vermont, Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA in Maine, Steamboat in Colorado, and The Canyons in Utah.

“Attitash offers first timers a step by step process for success,” Nathan Waterhouse, Perfect Turn Ski and Snowboard School director. “Our well organized learning center facilities and the Guaranteed Learning Method combine to make the first experience a positive one.”

Guests looking to take advantage of the Bring a Friend Program are required to reserve at Attitash.com/bringfriend at least seven days in advance of their visit.
