NEWBURY, New Hampshire ??” Mount Sunapee Resort has named industry veteran Bruce McCloy as the new Director of Marketing and Sales. McCloy brings 30 years of experience in the snow sports industry including 17 years as Vice President and Marketing Manager at Mount Snow, VT; three years as General Manager at Waterville Valley, NH; and, two years as Managing Director at Sugarbush, VT.

“We are excited to have Bruce join us at Mount Sunapee, and his years of experience and vision in the ski industry will strengthen our management team,” said Mount Sunapee Vice-President & General Manager Jay Gamble.

Most recently, McCloy has served as the President of Customers First, a company that provides customer relationship marketing services to businesses in the snow sports industry nationwide.

“While I was anxious to get back into the ski business,” stated McCloy, “I was looking in New England for a company that was well managed and progressive. When this position became available at Mount Sunapee, it seemed too good to be true. While I have done many things in the ski industry, my passion has always been marketing and sales and I look forward to my new responsibilities.”

Bruce currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Ski Areas Council. He and his wife, Catherine, will be moving to the Lake Sunapee area from Bethel, Maine. They have three children, Kelly, Bill and Hilary, who grew up skiing and riding on the mountains of New England. He joins the team at Mount Sunapee on May 2nd.
