Winter is finally in the air. Mother Nature is cooperating, the snow guns are firing and the official load test for the new Mid Burke Express is happening today and Tuesday. We are very excited to bring this chair on line before the holiday period.

In addition to the new lift, an operating wind tower, growing ski school programs and enhanced environmental initiatives, Burke Mountain is introducing Camber Heights , a new slopeside community. For nearly two years, we have been working closely with planners and architects to design a neighborhood that fits our unique mountain setting as well as the needs of our Burke loyalists.

That is why we are beginning with you, those who appreciate Burke for all we are. After the first of the year, we will be introducing our Inside Track program, allowing Burke enthusiasts the opportunity to be among the first to own at Camber Heights. We know we have chosen a premier location and want to be certain those who have been enjoying Burke through the years have access to this neighborhood.

The site of this first community by Burke in over a decade couldn’t be in a more desired location. For those who know Burke, there is a place many refer to as the Meadow, located just below Mid Burke Lodge (and where the new Mid Burke Express high speed quad begins its ascent to the peak.)

The first phase of Camber Heights offers a limited number of single family homes. Designed with the mountain family in mind, these homes blend welcoming yet functional spaces ideal for gatherings, gear and the relaxed Burke lifestyle. They incorporate modern technologies to ensure a low maintenance vacation home and numerous energy efficient design and construction features. Camber Heights homes will enjoy better air to breath and a more comfortable living environment, while using a fraction of the energy which can result in significantly lower operating costs than a traditional newly constructed home.

Explore Camber Heights , where you can view site renderings and sign up for updates as we finalize details.

See you on the mountain!
