EAST BURKE, Vermont — It was announced today at the National Ski Areas Association annual meeting, in San Francisco, that Burke Mountain is the 2008 nationwide recipient of the Best Overall Guest Service Program for ski areas with up to 100,000 skier visits. According to Emilie Kelley, of Camp Kelly Inc. and one of the judges for NSAA, Burke Mountain’s “Bend Over Backwards” campaign did a great job encouraging employees to exceed everyday expectations.

While in San Francisco to receive the award on behalf of Burke Mountain, Joe Kasprzak, the ski area’s Director of Service Operations, said, “Our employees are passionate about Burke Mountain and providing our guests with memorable experiences. We’ve empowered and encouraged them to just make it happen for our guests. I’m proud of them and pleased that they’re being recognized for their dedication.”
