FRANCONIA NOTCH, New Hampshire ??” This year on the slopes of Cannon Mountain Jack and Sam will Salute Boston Beer and Boston Baseball on Saturday, February 26, 2005 This popular recreational ski race and creative event takes place each year.

The race is open to skiers/riders age 21 and older. It is on the race course and suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers. The course is always colorfully and animatedly appointed to support the fun filled Boston Baseball theme presented each year. If you have had the pleasure to take part in previous years, you would agree that Jack and Sam are in a league of their own.

Let us take you out to the ballgame. Do some skiing/riding on scenic Cannon Mountain, join the fun race and meet the Cannon Nation at the Peabody Pub Station at 4:00 pm for the post race festivities.

The race was originated by Jack McGurin, Cannon Mountain ‘s Snowsports School Director and is sponsored by Sam Adam’s Beer and Amoskeag Beverages, who have provided T-shirts fitting for the event entrants and out of the ordinary trophy’s.

So, have a ball because Jack and Sam’s Adventure is always a big hit. Event registration will happen at 8:30 am on the day of the big game ( a.k.a. race). $10 entry fee gets you into the game, a t-shirt and into the batters box (start gate). Wear appropriate apparel to support your favorite team. (No blue pinstripes please).
