SOUTH EGREMONT, Massachusetts ??” Catamount Ski Area, which straddles the Massachusetts/New York state line in South Egremont, Mass and Hillsdale, NY, will host a USASA halfpipe and slopestyle events this weekend.

The United States of America Snowboard Association halfpipe competition will be held on Saturday, February 12. The slopestyle event will be Sunday, February 13.

The events are part of a tour for the Catskill mountain Regions series.

Special rates for competitors are offered, with lift tickets for riders offered at $25 for each event. Competitors must also register with USASA, with one-day registrations offered at $20 and season-long registrations available at $60.

Top finishers earn points and can qualify for national championships. The event will also feature prize giveaways and bib raffles.

In other news, Catamount is posting exceptional response to its $15 midweek lift ticket program. Day tickets at Catamount are $15, Mondays through Thursdays, non-holiday.

Holiday rates will be in effect during the President’s Week vacation period, February 19 ??“ 27.
