Central Maine Festivals to host Brews and Blues Festival at Sugarloaf on Sept 10
Event to feature up to 15 Maine micro-breweries, Pat Pepin Blues Band, BBQ, and more
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine (July 1, 2011) – Central Maine Festivals, the company that presents the annual Central Maine Brew Festival in Augusta, will host the first ever “Sugarloaf Brews and Blues Festival” at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center on Saturday, September 10.
The festival will be at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center from 2-6pm, and will feature the latest offerings from as many as 15 Maine micro-breweries, great barbeque food, plus live music by the Pat Pepin Blues Band and the Blues Prophets. With the price of admission, each guest will receive 12 four-ounce beer tastings, a souvenir beer-tasting glass, as well as a raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes.
Pat Pepin is a singer and saxophonist from Maine who has toured the nation and performed at numerous festivals and venues. She has released three albums and is currently touring in support of her latest release, “In It For The Long Haul.”
Tickets are $25 per person, and are available for purchase online now at www.centralmainebrews.com . Sugarloaf is also offering special event packages that include overnight lodging and festival tickets for just $80 per person.
