NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — Cranmore Mountain’s popular comedy series continues on Friday, July 11th with three popular Boston-area comedians taking the stage at the Eating House, followed by a Disco Dance Party.

Doors open at 7pm for a special 8pm performance by Michael Viselli, Dave Rattigan, and Mike Cote. In addition to the comedy show, the evening will feature a retro dance party complete with disco ball, lights and the best dance tunes from the 70s and 80s. Guests wearing 70s or 80s retro-wear will be eligible to receive prizes. A cash bar will be available at Zip’s Pub.

Michael Viselli has performed in venues in and around the Hub such as Nick’s Comedy Stop and the Comedy Connection. Michael is the event’s emcee and is reprising his comic turns from his original sell-out appearance at Cranmore’s first comedy night last January.

Dave Rattigan’s quick, dry wit makes him a popular choice at theater shows, comedy clubs, fund raisers and corporate events all over New England. His Dave Rattigan: Thinks He’s Funny CD has received airplay on XM Satellite Radio and radio stations around the globe. He plays top clubs around New England, and among the many theaters he’s performed at: the Cape Cod Melody Tent, Hyannis, Mass.; the South Shore Music Circus, Cohasett, Mass.; the Palace Theater, Manchester, NH; the Cabaret at Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, Conn.; the Strand in Clinton, Mass.; the Shea Theater in Turners Falls, Mass.; the Court Street Theatre in Nashua, N.H.; the Ioka in Exeter, N.H.; and Jimmy Tingle’s Off-Broadway Theater in Somerville, Mass. In addition to standup, he’s a professional writer who pens a monthly humor column, “Perfect Man,” for Northshore magazine. He’s also been published in The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Sports Illustrated, The Robb Report and The Sporting News.

Mike Cote’s impressive showings in the San Fransisco International Comedy Festival and Boston Comedy Festival let the industry know what people in Boston were well aware of: that with his quirky characters and charming persona, Cote could charm audiences with the best in the business.

Tickets to the show are only $10 in advance or $12 at the door. To reserve in advance, call 603-356-5544. Last January’s show was a sell out so advance reservations are strongly recommended. This is a 21 plus show.
