Cranmore Family Fitness Center Hosts Jr. Olympics Event
NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — Local youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13 have the opportunity to participate in the Jr. Olympic Skills Competition. This grassroots youth participation program allows boys and girls, competing separately, the opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities in three athletic events: basketball, tennis, and track & field. The program is designed to encourage youth participation in sports while promoting sportsmanship.
The Jr. Olympic Skills Competition will be hosted by Cranmore Family Fitness Center and Mount Washington Valley Community Tennis Association on April 12th from 11am-1pm at Cranmore Family Fitness Center. Participants may register the day of the event. Registration forms are available at the CFFC front desk and at www.jrolympicskills.com. There is no registration fee.
Champions from this local qualifying event will advance to one of the Regional Competitions taking place June 7th in Rochester, NH, in hopes of advancing to the National Finals to be held July 24-27 in Chicago, IL.
