Cranmore Opens for Spring and Summer Operations on May 25th
NORTH CONWAY, NH – Cranmore Mountain opens for its third summer season on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Cranmore’s Mountain Adventure Park is sure to make a memorable Memorial Day weekend for families visiting the North Conway, NH area. In New England’s popular resort town of North Conway, Cranmore offers a variety of rides and activities for all ages, including the Mountain Coaster, Aerial Adventure Park, Giant Swing, Soaring Eagle Zip Line and Segway Tours.
The park offers a full day of outdoor activities, with economical all inclusive ticket options starting as low as $29 for 38”-53”, $39 for individuals 54” and up , and new for 2013, children 38” and under are free (not applicable for Aerial Adventure Park). Discounts are also available for groups of 20 or more. E-coupons and online savings are available at www.cranmore.com. Savings include a $5 discount on advance web reservations for the Aerial Adventure Park.
The Cranmore Aerial Adventure Park is an aerial forest ropes course consisting of 8 individual, elevated courses for different ability levels consisting of dozens of challenging elements. Each course varies in terms of elevation and challenge. Elements include rope bridges, ladders, cargo nets, zip lines and more. All courses are self guided and every person is snapped into a guide line. The Aerial Adventure course is a 2-hr. adventure through the trees.
Mountain Segway Tours traverse the surrounding streets and mountain slopes on the revolutionary transporters. Each 60 minute session includes 30 minutes of training, and 30 minutes of touring both off and on road routes. Segway tours are for ages 14+.
The mountain coaster is a two person coaster sled that offers thousands of feet of twisting, turning fun. The speed can be controlled for a leisurely ride or speedy downhill decent. New for 2013, riders will have the option of purchasing a souvenir photo, taken on the decent.
Cranmore brings its popular winter tubing attraction to summer with summer tubing on a special surface for a 400 foot ride down the mountain. Ride the magic carpet lift to the top of the slope with a tube and enjoy the slide back down.
The Giant Swing is a four person attraction that lets riders arc high into the sky. The Soaring Eagle Zip Line carries two riders backwards 700 feet and then zips back to the base at approximately 35 miles per hour.
The Bungy Trampoline lets users fly high doing flips on one of the four stations. The inflatable obstacle course, bouncy house and spider mountain climb offer hours of entertainment for guests of all ages.
Starting June 22nd, enjoy the surrounding views of North Conway and Mount Washington, on a four person chairlift ride to the summit. Boxed lunches can be purchased at the base and can be enjoyed at the summit on the deck of the Meister Hut where the New England Ski Museum exhibit is displayed.
