BENNINGTON, New Hampshire — Crotched Mountain began skiing & riding until 3am on Friday and Saturday nights back in 2003. Since then, the mountain has made a huge impact with the late-night tradition called Midnight Madness, being featured by media outlets around the globe. Midnight Madness for the 2008-09 season begins Friday, December 26th.

All of Crotched’s terrain is under lights for night skiing including terrain parks. Skiers and snowboarders have already been on slopes early this season, under the lights until 9pm, which Crotched does regularly 6 nights per week. Midnight Madness extends Friday and Saturday nights until 3am.

“It’s wild”, says Craig Messa on staff at Crotched. “People come here from all over just for the fun. There’s always something going on.”

Crotched Mountain’s Midnight Madness events are known for slopeside bonfires, on-snow volleyball, live music, rail jams and more. Midnight Madness events will run this season, every Friday and Saturday night between December 26th and February 28th.
