The 1-mile self-guided nature walk to Thomspon Brook Falls is a popular activity, as well as a short walk along the famous Appalachian Trail which traverses Wildcat’s summit. And anglers are welcome to fish in Wildcat Pond, which is stocked with trout each summer.

Wildcat Mountain is a year-round, family-owned business, located on 100% National Forest land in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest in Pinkham Notch, NH. Wildcat is renowned for a long Spring skiing and riding season, and typically is open mid-November through April. Wildcat’s gondola, NH’s highest 4-person Gondola Skyride, operates in the summer and fall season only, beginning on Memorial Day Weekend in May, running weekends until Thursday, June 16th, then daily through the foliage in mid-October.
