Dirty Sock Funtime Band to Headline at Attitash During Kid’s Snow Fest Week

BARTLETT, New Hampshire — SpongeBob SquarePants* and Dora the Explorer* will be onsite to introduce The Dirty Sock Funtime Band at their second performance this season at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett, New Hampshire, on February 19, 2007. The 7 PM show will kick-off Nickelodeon & Attitash Kid’s Snow Fest Week with a line up of family events that will include Nickelodeon costume-character appearances, photo opportunities, themed activities and an exclusive line of SpongeBob and Dora skis and snowboards to rent or purchase.

“The Dirty Sock Funtime Band put on an incredible show in December and we are looking forward to a repeat performance,” said Jesse Mosston, marketing and brand manager at Attitash. “My four year old son attended and it was so great watching him dance and play some serious air guitar. This show is just one of the Nickelodeon themed family activities that will run throughout the week.”

Tickets to the Dirty Sock Funtime Band are limited and can be purchased in advance for $6 adults, $3 for children (ages 6-12) and children ages five and under enter for free. To reserve tickets in advance call (800) 223-7669 x 1.

Prior to the 7 PM showtime there will be a family buffet dinner available at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel. On the menu will be build your own burger, pizza, pasta and dessert. Tickets are limited and can be purchased in advance for $12.95 for adults, $8.95 for children (ages 6-12) and children ages five and under eat free.

“Dora and SpongeBob will be in town for the week kicking off events at Attitash and making themselves available for photo opportunities,” said Sherry Hartford, events manager at Attitash. “We will have karaoke, putt-putt golf, a treasure hunt, the Nickelodeon ice sculpture and a variety of other things during Kid’s Snow Fest for families to come out and enjoy.”

The Dirty Sock Funtime Band is a multi-genre, high-energy kids’ band – with reviews that have labeled them, the “First Real Rock Band for Kids”(FOX NEWS) and “The most exciting and innovative children’s music EVER.” (MTV XM Radio). A Dirty Socks concert consists of music, dance and overall clowning around which encourages full audience participation.

SpongeBob and Dora will be making additional appearances at several of the Nickelodeon family themed events scheduled throughout the week at the Snow Fest February 19-23, 2007.

Attitash Sports will carry a full line of Nickelodeon apparel and gear, including the exclusive new professional line of Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants skis and snowboards.
