VERNON, New Jersey ??” On March 5, 2005 the Freeski Super Fling, a qualifying round for the Vermont Open, comes to Mountain Creek’s terrain parks.

The Freeski Superfling is a grassroots event open to professional and amateur skiers. It is designed to attract freeskiers who have little or no experience with formal competitions, and provide a supportive and interactive format for them to improve their skills and build their confidence.

Sponsored by Freeskier magazine, Salomon and Power Bar, winners will vie for the $5000 cash purse, as well as a pair of Salomon 1080 skis and bindings and entry into the Vermont Open. Second place men and women will walk away in a new pair of Salomon boots and third place will take home new luggage bags.
