NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — December vacation week will offer a variety of fun and festive family activities ranging from terrain park competitions to fireworks to face-painting, all taking place at Cranmore Mountain Resort, located in North Conway, NH.

Cranapalooza, Cranmore’s night time festival of activities with night skiing, returns to Cranmore for its third year! Taking place every Saturday night, Cranapalooza starts on Wednesday, December 27 from 2-9pm with a Day-Glo theme. The lineup of activities and events includes a t-shirt giveaway in the lift line, s’mores around the fire pit, hypnotist Mike Hathaway, and musical guests Dennis and Davey. C-More the Penguin will be out and about and fireworks are set to launch at 7:30pm.

The Darkside Terrain Park team will present the Monster Mash snowboard and ski opening jams on Friday, December 29 and Saturday, December 30, respectively. Registration is from 8-10am each day and the competition begins at 11:45am at the top of the Darkside on both days. Results and awards with prizes for top finishers will be given at 1:30pm both days. A $10 registration fee applies. Competitors require a lift ticket or season pass.

Cranmore will ring in New Year’s a day early with the holiday week’s second Cranapalooza on Saturday, December 30. This New Year’s themed Cranapolooza will rock North Conway with musical guest Vacate, as well as the t-shirt toss in the lift line, appearances by C-More, face painting, s’mores, and Mo the Clown.

Cranapalooza lift tickets are available at $19 for all ages with access to lifts from 2-9pm. Also, bring the same day’s ticket from any other mountain to the Cranmore Ticket Haus and get a Cranapalooza ticket for $15. Lift tickets are not required for Cranapalooza activities such as live music, entertainers and fireworks.

Cranmore is open from 9am-4pm on Christmas Day, then 8:30am-4pm December 26, December 28-29, December 31 and January 1. Cranmore is open from 8:30am-9pm on December 27 and 30 for Cranapalooza and night skiing.

Cranmore is also offering special holiday week hours for its Artic Blast Tubing Park: December 23-24 from 9am-4pm; 9am-9pm December 26-31; and 9am-4pm on January 1.
