NORTH CREEK, New York ??” Gore Mountain will host a full day of demos, clinics, and racing specially for telemark skiers on Sunday, February 13.

Inside Edge of Glens Falls will offer telemark skis for demo from Atomic, K2, Rossignol, and Karhu, along with K2, Garmont, and Crispi boots. Even more Atomic skis will be on hand from 3D Cycles of Clifton Park.

90-minute group clinics will be available for beginners at 9:45am, and for intermediate and advanced telemark skiers at 1:15pm, at a special price of just $15. People can sign up for the clinics day-of at the Snow Sports Desk in the Base Lodge.

Beginners in need of rentals for this event should contact Inside Edge in advance at (518) 793-5676, and they will receive a complete package for a reduced rate of $15.

A NASTAR race for telemark skiers will be held on the Twin Fawns race course at 11am. Racers can register at the Information Desk 8:30am-11am, the entry fee is $5 for two runs. The top male and female finishers will each be awarded a new pair of Volkl skis with tele binding.

After a day on the mountain, participants are encouraged to enjoy a relaxing evening in the Tannery Pub with live entertainment from Bill Padowitz 2pm-6pm.
