NORTH CREEK, New York ??” Gore Mountain will open for the season on Friday, November 25 at 10am. A special Opening Day-only rate of just $23 will be available, and guests can save an additional $10 and ski for just $13 by donating a non-perishable food item at the ticket window.

Terrain scheduled to open includes “Topridge” for experts, and “Foxlair” and “Wild Air” for intermediates, serviced by the Northwoods Gondola and the Topridge Triple.

Snowmaking began Thursday, November 17, and recent cold nights have been very productive for snowmakers. Gore Mountain has operated over 100 guns simulataneously at times during the last week. As of press time Tuesday morning, natural snow is falling and accumulations are forecasted both today and Wednesday night into Thanksgiving Day.

Gore Mountain’s regular extra-value season rates and daily operating hours of 8:30am-4pm will be in effect as of Saturday, November 26, with the $10 off food drive continuing daily through December 9.
