Gore Mountain to be Open This Weekend, April 14-16
NORTH CREEK, New York ??” Gore Mountain will be open this weekend, April 14-16. Many ski areas have closed throughout the Northeast, but Gore will keep the fun coming with top-to-bottom skiing and riding on approximately 30 trails and over 14 miles of terrain.
Easter Sunday activities include a 7am nondenominational Sunrise Service atop Bear Mountain. The service is a wonderful way to welcome Easter morning, featuring beautiful music and scenic Adirondack vistas. The gondola will begin loading passengers at 6:30am, and guests are welcome to return to the base on the gondola, or ski down a designated route after the service. The service with gondola ride is available to the public at no charge.
A free Easter Egg Hunt for ages 10 and under will follow at 1pm, featuring over 1,000 eggs hidden in the base area filled with toys, candy, and prizes.
2006/2007 season passes are on sale, and new passholders who purchase now can enjoy the rest of the current season, as well as all of next. “We are committed to providing outstanding value to our guests. The long season at Gore Mountain is just one of many reasons why a season pass is such a great investment,” commented Kurt Wisell, Gore Mountain Assistant General Manager.
