GILFORD, New Hampshire — Gunstock Mountain Resort announces plans for their 70th anniversary ski season 2007-2008 with an anniversary season pass sale. Unlimited season passes will be just $299.00 for Adults, Teen and Seniors, and $199.00 for Children ages 6-12. Pass quantities are limited, and this price can expire before the April 30th deadline. “We are looking forward to a yearlong celebration of 70 years of skiing and riding at Gunstock next year. At these prices, you can’t afford to miss this celebration. Our goal was to make sure the whole family can come out and play.”, says Bill Quigley, director of Marketing and Sales. “This represents an opportunity for young and old, near and far to come out with use next season and enjoy our great skiing and riding, and spectacular views. We wanted to celebrate with a bang, and this one time only pricing will allow every family to celebrate all year with us.” Says Greg Goddard, Gunstock’s General Manager. “After April 30th the rates will significantly increase, there are no blackout dates on this pass, so get them while they are hot.”

Gunstock is still working on next year’s calendar, but if the number of events held this year are any indication, it will be awesome. Gunstock has been open since early December and the conditions since January have been some of the best in the past 15 years. Close to everything, 90 minutes from Boston, Perfect grooming, Great snowmaking, New Hampshire’s longest tubing run, 70 years of history and wonderful cross country skiing are just some of the reasons to come up to the shores of Lakes Winnipesaukee, and enjoy skiing and riding at Gunstock.

Gunstock, located in Gilford New Hampshire, is one of the state’s largest recreation areas. The first ski area in New England to have a chairlift, Gunstock boasts 1400 feet of vertical, over 220 acres of skiing, and 300 campsites during the summer, spectacular views of the Lake Winnipesaukee at every turn. It is also the host of major events such as the HillClimb during Laconia Bike week, The Laconia Nationals, RibFest, CraftFest, Soulfest, and the TimberMan Triathlon.
