Gunstock Collecting for the Haitian Relief Effort over MLK Weekend

GILFORD, New Hampshire — Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire will be collecting donations for the people of Haiti over this Martin Luther King vacation weekend. All monies collected at the ticket windows and guest services will be give to the American Red Cross, Haitian Relief Fund. Please consider giving $1, or $5, or $10 or more when purchasing your lift ticket this weekend to support the worldwide effort to help the people of Haiti who have been devastated by the earthquake.

Gunstock, located in Gilford New Hampshire, is one of the state’s largest recreation areas. The first ski area in New England to have a chairlift, Gunstock boasts 1400 feet of vertical, 227 acres of skiing, and 300 campsites during the summer, spectacular views of the Lake Winnipesaukee at every turn. It is also the host of major events such as the ,The Lakeside Living Expo, HillClimb during Laconia Bike week, RibFest, CraftFest, Soulfest, and the TimberMan Triathlon.
