HUNTER, New York — Hunter Mountain will have been open 141 days during the 2008-09 season before it officially closes for skiing and riding on April 11, 2009. Hunter’s season will end amidst a number of specials, including Any Mountain Season Passholder Day, Family Day and a promotional special on closing day. These specials follow a variety of offers designed for Big Lift Card holders, as well as an array of Customer Appreciation Days for retail outlets including Burton Soho, Ski Barn and Potter Bros.

Family Day, which takes place on Good Friday, April 10, allows juniors (aged 7-12) and young adults ( aged 13-18 ) to ski or ride for free with a purchase of an adult lift ticket: a potential savings of over $40 per person. Limit one (1) free ticket per purchased adult ticket.

Any Mountain Season Passholder Day, which will be held on April 5, welcomes any season passholders with valid 2008-09 season passes from anywhere in the world. Whether it’s Mountain Creek, Zermatt or Aspen/Snowmass, 08/09 season passholders are welcome at Hunter Mountain on the 11th of April, free of charge.

Last, any and all lift tickets purchased on Hunter’s closing day (April 11) will cost only $19.59, the second $19.59 special celebrating the year of Hunter Mountain’s opening.

Additionally, March Mountain Madness, an area-wide promotion offering deep discounts on lodgings and lift tickets, is available to any and all visitors. Visit MarchMountainMadness.com for more information and a list of participants.
