Hunter, NY – Hunter Mountain is now hosting four weekends of Oktoberfest! Starting September 27th and 28th, the first weekend of Oktoberfest kicks off with a new event, the Gestalt BMW Auto Rally, where owners and spectators alike can peruse some of the finest in German engineering.

The following weekend, October 4th & 5th, Colors in the Catskills Motorcycle Rally makes its mark on the mountain, with hundreds of riders from across the state riding up the windy roads, with the colorful Catskill Mountains as their backdrop. The third weekend of Oktoberfest, October 11th & 12th, Das Laufwerk Eurocar Rally comes back for another year of VW splendor, as only one of seven VW events in the country! The last weekend, October 18th & 19th, Hunter Mountain will host Wine Tasting and Farmer’s Market, featuring local wineries and farms.

As always, Oktoberfest at Hunter Mountain comes complete with German-American food, traditional brews, and live music all day, including performances by Jimmy Sturr, Die Schlauberger, the Adlers, and many more! Plus, new events are rolling into this year’s Oktoberfest Weekends, including Pumpkin Bowling, Pie Eating Contests, Harvest Games, Krug Carrying Race, Musical Hay Bales, and of course the ever-popular Beer Stein Holding and Keg Rolling Contests.

Speaking of Keg Rolling, this year’s participants will compete for the Oktoberfest Keg Rolling Championship, a series of Keg Rolling Competitions spread across the four weekends! Aside from bragging rights, each Oktoberfest contest winner will win great prizes, including lift tickets and snow tubing passes!
