HUNTER, New York ??” Thanks to the arrival of optimal snowmaking weather courtesy of Mother Nature, Hunter Mountain will open with limited skiing and riding on Saturday, November 19th, 2005.

Advanced skiers and riders can make turns from the summit to mid-station, with lift access via F-Lift. Tickets will cost $25 for all ages, and the Mountain will open between 10am and 11am. Mid-week season passes will not be honored the weekend of the 19th and 20th, but regular season passes will be.

Hunter’s snowmaking operations are ongoing as the cold weather continues to inundate the Catskills. Additional trails will continue to open over the course of the coming week, weather permitting. The 10-day forecast for Hunter, New York predicts a continued influx of optimal snowmaking weather.
