PINKHAM NOTCH, New Hampshire ??” Wildcat Mountain’s summer gondola skyride is open on weekends and opens for daily operation on Thursday, June 16th, 2005. To kick off the summer/fall season, Wildcat is offering skyrides for just $5 per person on Thursday, June 16th — that is 50% off the regular adult rate. Wildcat’s gondolas offer the most spectacular views of Mt. Washington and Tuckerman Ravine, and East as far as the Atlantic Ocean.

Regular gondola skyride rates are: Adults $10.00, Juniors (ages 6-12) $5.00, Seniors (65+) $9.00, Children 5 and under are free. Lunch and Ride Packages are also available.

“Wildcat’s Summer Gondolas are comfortable 4-person cabins, much different than Wildcat’s smaller early gondolas,” notes Jennifer Patry, Director of Guest Services. “You can actually sit facing Mt. Washington on the way up, too.” Wildcat Mountain has a Make-Your-Own Ice Cream Sundae Bar, and serves beer and wine as part of its caf?В© summer menu as well.

In case of inclement weather, Wildcat’s $5 Day will be the following day, Friday, June 17th.

Then on Sunday, June 19th, Father’s Day is the day each year when Dads can ride the gondola skyride for free.
