Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort Opens for the Summer Season Memorial Day Weekend

Jiminy Peak Mountain Adventure opens Saturday, May 26. The resort will also offer 2 brand new attractions as part of the summer offerings this year including the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride and Segway Tours.

Hancock, MA: Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort has shifted gears from winter to summer. The resort will open Mountain Adventure for the summer season with 2 Parks in 1 location this Memorial Day weekend.

Aerial Adventure Park offers tree top challenges through 6 different levels incorporating challenges such as suspended bridges, swinging logs, ziplines and more. This season, new challenges have been added to the Park including a new blue course for a total of 6 courses and new elements (including longer ziplines) have been added throughout the Park so it will be a fresh challenge even for past guests! Mountain Adventure Park features guest favorites such as the Mountain Coaster, Alpine Slide, Kids Zone and other thrills for the whole family.

New attractions for 2012 include the Soaring Eagle zip ride that pulls riders 800 feet up into the trees before releasing to fly through air on this family friendly zip ride. The Soaring will open to riders at the end of June. Also new for 2012 are Segway Tours – the only segway tours available in the region. Enjoy a 90 minute tour of Jiminy Peak on these unique 2-wheeled vehicles. Segways will be available for tours starting Memorial Day weekend.

Mountain Adventure will operate weekends and Memorial day, 10 am – 6 pm and open for daily operations on June 9th. The Park will expand hours to 8 pm on Friday, June 29th.
