Jiminy Peak Welcomes Two New Members of Management Team

HANCOCK, Massachusetts ??” Jiminy Peak welcomes Besty Strickler as new Director of Marketing, and Jim Bronson, as new Director of Food and Beverage. Strickler replaces former Director Sally Johnstone, and Bronson is taking over for Bruce and Jean Sargeant.

Strickler is new to the snow sports industry and came to Jiminy after spending the past four and a half years in advertising and marketing at Winstanley Associates in Lenox, MA. She has also worked in a variety of educational and service industries. Strickler is an active member of the Berkshire community and is involved with the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Berkshire Leadership Program, Western Mass Girl Scouts, Mass Audubon – Berkshire Sanctuaries Committee, and local political campaigns. She is involved in both the Albany, and Western Mass Advertising Clubs. Strickler is originally from Lancaster, PA and now resides in Pittsfield, MA. She takes over the position from Sally Johnstone who has left to spend more time with her family.

Bronson has been with Boston Culinary Group since 1982 when he began working at Mt. Tom in Holyoke, MA as a summer job. Since then he has managed several locations throughout the east and at Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana with BCG. He came to Jiminy Peak from Hidden Valley Resort in Pennsylvania. Bronson is an avid weather buff and a native of Massachusetts. He resides in Pittsfield with his wife Lynne, also of BCG, and daughter Madelyn. Bronson is taking over as Director of Food and Beverage from Bruce and Jean Sargeant who are retiring after thirty-one years of service.
