KILLINGTON, Vermont — The Red Bull One Hit Wonder Tour is stopping at Killington Resort on Saturday February 2. The One Hit Wonder is a snowboarding best trick competition for snowboarders ages 13-18 on the custom designed Red Bull feature the Killington Parks & Pipe Crew has designed and built specifically for the event.

“All I can tell you is that our new Red Bull feature is one of the longest we’ve ever built, and it’s designed to be reconfigured for a couple different set ups,” said Jay “Rosey” Rosenbaum, Killington’s pipe and parks manager. “Other than that, its kind of top secret and I don’t want to give out too many details.”

Registration will be the day of the competition in the Bear Lodge from 10:30 ??“ 11:30 a.m. and is free (all competitors must have a lift ticket or valid season pass for the day). The event is open to snowboarders ages 13-18 only and will start with an open jam from 12:30 ??“ 2:00 p.m. The top 16 will advance to the bracket style finals.

The top three winners will receive prizes from Red Bull and Skull Candy; 1st place will receive a year’s supply of Red Bull and Skull Candy paraphernalia with both 2nd and 3rd place winners receiving all the Red Bull they can carry along with Skull Candy paraphernalia. The 1st and 2nd place finishers will advance to the finals on March 8th at Mountain Creek Resort in New Jersey to compete for a four day snowboarding vacation out west and a Digital X pocket-sized HD video camera and MP3 player.
