Loon Mountain celebrates Half-way to the Highland Games

LINCOLN, New Hampshire ??” In honor of the New Hampshire Highland Games (NHHG) returning to Loon Mountain in September, the resort will kick-off the celebrations six months early with a Half-Way to Highland Games celebration on Friday, March 24. All members of the NHHG will be able to purchase a lift ticket for $30 that day and all guests can enjoy an apr??s ski party featuring traditional live Celtic music and Redhook Brewery’s very own Piper Ale- made specifically for the event.

The NH Highland Games are one of the largest Scottish Games in North America and they have been held at Loon Mountain for twenty-seven of the past thirty years. The Games are known for their artistic, cultural and athletic signature and have often attracted over 20,000 spectators in a single day.

“Spring is great time for celebration and skiing,” said Loon Mountain General Manger Rick Kelley. “We are extremely excited to be hosting the Highland Games again and think this event is a nice way to start the celebrations a little early.”
