Loon to Host CASA Snow Fest Feb. 11
LINCOLN, New Hampshire ??” Loon Mountain is hosting the Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire Snow Fest on Friday, February 11. WMUR-TV 9’s Scott Spradling and WQKQ’s Mark Ericson and Danielle Carrier will be on hand to host this day of fun on the slopes featuring a dual slalom race.
Beginning at 11 a.m. team participants will race down two specially designed, side-by-side race courses. An awards luncheon will be held at 1 p.m. in the Governor’s Lodge, at which time awards will be presented for best individual time, team time and costumes.
Registration and breakfast is from 9 to 10 a.m. in Loon Mountain’s Governor’s Lodge. A silent auction and raffle will also start at 9 a.m. Participants will receive an all-day lift ticket, goody bag, awards luncheon and a raffle ticket. All are welcome to participate. Individuals may register with a $150 entry fee and a team of four is $500.
CASA of New Hampshire is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victimized children. CASA volunteers advocate in New Hampshire’s courts for the best interest of abused and neglected children, so they can grow up in safe and permanent homes. CASA of New Hampshire has 425 court volunteers who advocate for more than 1,000 children across the state.
