Mountain Creek Announces 2006-07 Winter Events Schedule
VERNON, New Jersey — Events are a vital part of the scene at Mountain Creek and this year the resort is thrilled to bring a packed-out schedule of diverse competitions, industry showcases and progression programs to riders and skiers of every age and ability level.
Mountain Creek will be the region’s hot spot this winter ??“ bringing back many of the most popular events as well as adding some new ones. In February, two huge competitions will blow through the resort including the fourth consecutive Chevrolet US Snowboard Grand Prix, where the incredible US Olympic Snowboard Team was named last year. Mountain Creek will also team up with two-time Olympian, Jersey’s own Danny Kass to host the two day Pro-Am contest series, Grenade Strikes Back.
Guests can expect to find an event almost every weekend in the season, and with the opening of The Appalachian, Mountain Creek’s first ski-in/ski-out hotel, spectators and competitors alike can enjoy an extended stay slopeside. Keep an eye out for special lodging packages offered throughout the season.
