KILLINGTON, Vermont ??” The NBC Today Show is scheduled to broadcast several segments live from Killington Saturday and feature a number of Vermont athletes who recently competed in the Sports Illustrated For Kids Next Snow Search in Colorado. The Today Show airs beginning at 7 am. Killington was a regional site for Snow Search state finals earlier this winter.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Vermont to showcase the recent snowfall and the outstanding conditions we have right now,” said Vermont Ski Areas Association President David Dillon. “We look forward to Killington hosting the Today Show and for a number Vermont ski areas to be represented Saturday by their athletes and banners at the show site.”

28 Vermont athletes were among 150 nine-to-13-year-old skiers and snowboarders from across North America who competed in the Snow Search finals at Keystone, CO. The finals will air at 2 pm nationally, Saturday, also on NBC.

Vermont ski areas represented by Snow Search finalists include Killington, Stowe, Okemo, Stratton, Jay Peak, Mad River Glen, Mount Snow, Sugarbush and Smugglers’ Notch. Many of those athletes will participate in Saturday’s Today Show segments from Killington.
