NEW YORK CITY, NY ??” On Jan. 8-9, Central Park in New York City will be the site of the annual Winterfest.

Snowmakers from Hunter Mountain and Gore Mountain will blanket the hills with snow creating a winter wonderland. The Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) is also among the event’s sponsors.

Activities on Sunday, January 9 will include a “Snowboarding Learn-to-Ride” and from 1 – 3 PM the NYC Rail Jam will be held where visitors can check out some of the best local riders as they compete in Central Park’s East Meadow.
